SLAY – Sexually Lit & Aware Youth
SLAY is a space for real conversations — the kind you don’t always get in school or at home. We talk openly about sex, relationships, and boundaries in a way that’s honest, respectful, and actually relatable. No shaming. No fear-mongering. Just facts, reflection, and real-life skills.
Young people today are already navigating relationships, intimacy, peer pressure, and online influences — whether adults are ready to talk about it or not. Avoiding these conversations does not stop them from happening. It only increases the risk of misinformation, stigma, and unsafe decisions. That is why it is important for us to step into youth spaces with accurate, evidence-based information and create safe environments for open dialogue.
Our sessions cover the essentials — HIV and STI prevention, testing, safer sex, consent, and healthy relationship and communication — but we don’t stop at information. While many youth sexual health resources provide brochures, clinic information, or general advice, SLAY goes further by creating space for honest discussion, critical thinking, and practical decision-making. SLAY is about helping youth understand why these things matter, how to communicate clearly, how to assess risk responsibly, and how to make choices that align with their values, comfort, and wellbeing. SLAY also ensures that young people are aware of our confidential Anonymous Testing Service (ATS)/ Mobile Testing Service (MTS), providing clear and accessible pathways to testing and support when they need it.
And because every group is different, SLAY is never one-size-fits-all. We customise each programme to match your needs, age, and vibe — whether that means more discussions, activities, games, or scenario-based chats. The message stays the same, but the way we deliver it changes so it actually lands.
How We SLAY
SLAY can be delivered through:
- 🧪 In-person workshops with on-site testing – Educational sessions paired with confidential HIV/STI testing options through ATS/MTS
- 🏫 In-person workshops – Facilitated sessions with discussions, activities, and scenario-based learning
- 💻 Online workshops – Accessible, interactive sessions conducted virtually
This allows schools and organisations to choose formats that best suit their space, comfort level, and objectives.
At its core, SLAY is about youth empowerment. It’s about feeling confident in your body, informed about your options, and supported in making decisions that keep you safe and respected — by others and by yourself.
Why It Matters
Young people are already receiving information about sex — from friends, social media, and the internet. The question is not when they will learn about it, but where they learn it from and if what they learn is accurate, responsible, and grounded in respect.
Bringing SLAY into your space ensures youth receive medically accurate information, inclusive facilitation, and clear pathways to support and testing — before confusion, harmful myths, or silence shape their decisions.
Bring SLAY to Your Space
Creating safer, more informed youth communities starts with proactive conversations.
By inviting SLAY into your space, you are choosing to equip young people with practical knowledge, critical thinking skills, and access to trusted support — before misinformation, stigma, or silence shapes their decisions.
We partner with schools, youth groups, and organisations to deliver customised, evidence-based programmes that are engaging, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate.

Unsure If You’re “Too Young” to Seek Help?
If you’re a young person wondering whether you are allowed to test, ask questions, or speak to someone about your concerns — you are not alone.
Our ATS/MTS services provide confidential, youth-friendly HIV testing (STI testing is at ATS only) and counselling. If you are unsure about your risks, or your options, reach out to us. It is always better to seek clarity early than to navigate uncertainty alone.
