Pursuing her interest in the marginalised community, Atiqah graduated with Bachelor of Social Work in 2023. Atiqah has prior volunteer involvement with high-risk groups like the LGBTQ+ community and sex workers, taking up roles such as outreach volunteer, befriender services volunteer, and caseworker. Her thirst for knowledge about issues surrounding marginalised communities led her to join AfA to support the continuous work of advocating for sexual health. She believes that to bridge inequalities, support and treatment should be accessible and affordable.
