AfA Wellness : Gathering & Barbeque

We held our first volunteer gathering for 2015 last Saturday at Toa Payoh Safra. It was a simple event, lead by our President, Prof. Roy Chan. We shared our thoughts, tributes and observed a minute of silence to mark the passing of our founding father Mr. Lee Kuan Yew.

Volunteers were treated to a feast afterwards while we played a game of human bingo.

AfA Wellness: Bonding programme for volunteers and staff as part of Capacity building to stay healthy. These programmes are held at least once every quarter to allow volunteers and staff to get to know each other, new friends who have recently joined us to be introduced to fellow advocates and for AfA to show our appreciation to our dedicated and hardworking volunteers.

Some of these events are co-organised by volunteers, so we welcome inputs and suggestions.
