Chronos first started as a volunteer with AfA way back in 2005. He was a counsellor at the Anonymous Testing Service and also conducted talks at schools as well as military bases to increase awareness for HIV prevention. He was also actively involved in several fundraising gala events.

During this time, he worked closely with the community to implement effective outreach, testing and research programmes that contribute towards reducing the rate of new infections and advocate against HIV-related stigma.

Chronos strongly believes that more can be done to support marginalized groups in Singapore, to build a more inclusive and compassionate society. Before to joining AfA, Chronos worked many years in the civil service and with a Foundation dedicated to eldercare. He obtained his Master of Social Work from the Singapore University of Social Sciences in 2021.
